当地时间周日凌晨，美国首都华盛顿特区发生枪击案，造成一名少年丧生，至少20人受伤，其中一名警察重伤。

据大都会警察局长彼得·纽瑟姆（PeterNewsham）称，枪击案发生在周日凌晨东南区33号街，当时正在举办一个数百人的大规模聚会。

警方说，似乎是派对中发生了争执，几位持枪者开枪射击，动机尚不清楚。纽瑟姆说：“至少有3个射击者，因为至少有3个单独的开枪地点。”“据我了解，枪击几乎同时发生。”

Newshamconfirmedtherewereofficersatthesceneofthegathering,whichdidnothaveapermit.ThepolicechiefsaidthatsuchlargegatheringsweretoodangeroustobehadduringthecoronaviruspandemicandamidthespreadofCOVID-19.
