AbouttheWorkshop

ThePhysicalReviewWorkshoponQuantumMaterialsforModernMagnetismSpintronics(Q3MS)willbringtogetherworld-leadingexpertsinexperimentalandtheoreticalphysicstoaddresscriticalissuesatthefrontierofthefield.Emphaseswillbegiventothelatestdevelopmentssurroundingnewsystemsandmaterialsthatintegratemagnetic,topological,andsuperconductingproperties,newexperimentalapproachesandprobes,andnewtheoreticalmechanismsandformalismsthat,collectively,pointtopotentialnewdirectionsofscientificdevelopmentanddeviceapplications(especiallyforinformationprocessingandstorageinthequantumregime).Thepresentworkshopisafollow-uptothefirstPhysicalReviewWorkshoplaunchedinHefei,ChinaonNovember10-13,,withthethemeof"NewFrontiersofSuperconductivity",butwiththenewthemeof“QuantumMaterialsforModernMagnetismSpintronics(Q3MS)”.Collectively,thegoaloftheseworkshopsistoprovideasettingtopromoteopenandinformaldiscussionsandtheexchangeofinformationneededtohelpassessthepromiseandchallengesofanemergingfield.Withthisinmind,theworkshops
